Depending on the end-use criteria, PTFE continuous service
temperature is 260 0C. Short term can withstand higher
temperatures in use. |
PTFE excellent high temperature and flame resistance and high
melt has a failure temperature. Flame propagation
characteristics such as PTFE produce heat release and fire rate
is quite low. |
Coefficient of friction of PTFE solid material is a material
which is the lowest. Abrasion resistance fiber glass fibers, can
be made using carbon or graphite on the intended use. |

PTFE is chemically pure and inaktifd. Oil, stabilizing additives,

environmental agents and retains its properties even at high
temperature in an excellent manner. Color change and are
resistant to brittle fragility |
PTFE has the lowest refractive index.
When exposed to ultraviolet and infrared light it does not

PTFE dielectric strength is very good and has a
dielectric constant. The loss factor is low. In terms of
stability and level of dielectric property in a wide
environmental conditions it is better than most of PTFE

are inactive against microbial proliferation and provide an
environment where enzymes attack. |
PTFE is completely resistant to chemical reactions. It is a good
barrier against water. Even though the long-term water PTFE
chemical, physical and dimensional characteristics remain the
same unchanged. |
